11:00 Sermon: "Heartbreaking Hope"

Neils Bohr talks of a paradox as two opposite profound truths held in tension. During Lent, we acknowledge heartbreak and hope, not as enemies, but as part of the same Gospel. Jeremiah 31, taken from the "scroll of comfort," displays hope in the midst of heartbreak and exile. Hope is cruciform, born in pain. Anything else is a delusion.
